Ellen Wang is the Founder & President of the CA-wide Sunrise Venture Pitch Competition. As the President of Northwood High Entrepreneurship Club, she was inspired to expand this pitch competition into a state-wide event. She has garnered a $500 grant from Irvine Mayor Farrah Khan and united the OC startup community business professors, investors, and entrepreneurs to create a free online curriculum and mentorship program for high school students.

Her vision is to debunk the myth that entrepreneurs have to be silicon valley tech gurus and to make superb entrepreneurial education as well as networking opportunities accessible to all students regardless of economic privilege, because few people can afford $7000 entrepreneurship summer programs.

Sunny Moon is the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Publicity in Northern California. She is the developer of this website and is very proud of the sunrise team for their ability to bring magic!

Outside of Sunrise, Sunny is a junior at Amador Valley High School in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a passionate STEM nerd and is a Science Olympiad kid! An avid cellist and an orchestra musician playing in San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, she is also passionate about serving her community through music: she leads Tri-Valley Symphonics as the Music Director and her school Music Honor Society as its Founder. She also enjoys learning about history and social issues and dreams to use her technical skills to promote compassion in society.

Maya Iyengar is the director of outreach for the Sunrise Venture Pitch Competition. She is a junior at Northwood High School in Irvine, California. Maya is very passionate about tackling inequities in education, and joined Sunrise Venture to expand the horizons of career exploration and entrepreneurship education for high school students.

Outside of Sunrise Venture, Maya is also a board member of the Entrepreneurship Club, Stock Market Club, and President of the Days for Girls club at her school, showcasing her passion for business and community service.

Shuba Senthilkumar is a senior at University High School planning to pursue economics and sociology in college.Her passion for the business world stems from being a people person and wanting to make a genuine, meaningful impact on peoples' lives. As the Director of Mentorship and Curriculum last year, Shuba is ready to take on her new role as the Student Programs Officer to lead the new and exciting in-person workshops.

Outside of Sunrise, she is the president of Key Club and the South Asian Student Association, the vice president of Future Business leaders of America, a senior mentor in the nationally ranked UHS MUN, and an active member in UHS's county championship Mock Trial.

Amber Chih is a sophomore at Northwood High School who is passionate about youth empowerment and believes strongly in the role of entrepreneurial education in helping young people make their voices heard. As last year's Publicity Officer for Sunrise Venture, she quickly recognized the wide-reaching applicability of entrepreneurship across various fields. This year, she aims to further engage the community in entrepreneurship while deepening her own understanding of the subject.

Outside of her work with Sunrise Venture, Amber is actively involved in public speaking, from competing as a nationally ranked speaker in speech and debate and performing at local talk shows to serving as a national youth ambassador for Tourette Syndrome, she emphasizes the importance of using one's voice to create change. Occasionally, she goes outside and enjoys playing tennis for her school team, taking walks with her family, and inevitably goes back inside to practice for orchestra (mentally).

Madison Low is a Junior at Valencia High School who plans to be a business major in the future. She is also heavily involved in Future Business Leaders of America as Vice President, Key Club as Treasurer, and Associated Student Body as Historian.

Keilah Lim is a senior at Beckman High School who has a strong interest in business, looking to pursue a career in the finance field. As a high schooler, she truly values her education and constantly strives to be involved on campus.

Keilah is currently the Event Coordinator of Business Professionals of America (BPA), Treasurer of California Scholarship Federation (CSF), and the Vice President of Sports Injury Prevention Club (SIP). Basketball has been an important passion of hers since elementary school and she currently plays on Beckman High School’s Varsity team. Outside of school, she is constantly looking for ways to better her community by volunteering through Girl Scouts and combating racial injustice through Kizuna’s Leadership in Action Cohort.

Cindy Long is a junior at Amador Valley High School in the Bay Area. As a front-end developer for Sunrise Venture's website, many of her interests lie in STEM, and with much of her time dedicated to various science clubs, such as her school's Science Olympiad and Girls Who Code.

Outside of school, she enjoys playing violin, and is involved in Golden State Youth Orchestra as a first violin. She also enjoys drawing, 3D modeling, and crocheting in her free time.

Aryanna Lee is the grant coordinator and virtual student programs officer for Sunrise Venture Inc. Interested in the intersections between biotechnology and business, she plans on pursuing a bioengineering and business double major.

Outside of coordinating finances and curriculum for Sunrise Venture, she is the founder of Mementos of Memory, focused on art therapy that targets senior dementia, as well as a class representative for City of Irvine's HSYAT and member of her school's competitive color guard.

Chloe Dalmacio is the Director of Educational Programs at Sunrise Venture and a junior at Beckman High School with aspirations of pursuing computer science and business in college. Passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity, Chloe is dedicated to combining these interests to make a meaningful impact.

Outside of her work with Sunrise Venture, Chloe is the founder of Coding Creativity, a nonprofit organization that teaches kids to code through creative outlets such as art, animation, and game design. She is committed to inspiring the next generation of problem-solvers by fostering both creativity and computer science skills. In addition to her nonprofit work, Chloe enjoys competing in business pitch competitions, where she has earned over $1,000 in scholarship prize money. These experiences have deepened her passion for blending business strategy with creative problem-solving to drive change.

Luna Bouhairi is the PR Coordinator and Northwood Marketing Ambassador for Sunrise Venture. She believes in the empowerment that entrepreneurial education offers high schoolers, viewing it as a crucial foundation for aspiring leaders of tomorrow.

Outside of Sunrise, Luna is a nationally ranked competitor in business, speech&debate, and mock trial tournaments. She also serves as the Speech President, Co-tournament Coordinator for mock trial, and contributes to her school’s newspaper. Additionally, Luna is the Co-teen committee head of non-profit American Lebanese Tripolian Organization (ALTO) and an intern for Action For Justice In Society (AJISO).
